Description

The Pristina V2 is a 30W LED track spotlight designed for three-phase track systems, delivering 3000K warm white light with a CRI90 colour rendering rating and a 36° beam angle. The cylindrical black metal body houses an integrated LED module with a honeycomb anti-glare louvre visible at the aperture. The track adapter at the top clips directly into compatible three-phase track rails and provides 350° rotation and 90° tilt adjustment.

Built for retail displays, gallery accent lighting, hospitality interiors and commercial spaces where colour accuracy matters, the CRI90 rating renders fabric tones, artwork pigments and product finishes more accurately than standard CRI80 track lights. The 36° beam angle suits medium-throw applications — highlighting individual products on shelves 2-4m away, washing feature walls, or spotlighting architectural details. The 350° rotation and 90° tilt range allow each head to be aimed independently without re-positioning the track itself.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 180mm in height with an 80mm diameter, projecting 87mm from the track when installed. The honeycomb louvre reduces direct glare from the LED chip, making the spotlight more comfortable to view in open-plan retail and hospitality settings where the fitting is visible from multiple angles. The integrated LED operates at 30W on 220-240V mains and is rated for 5 years under the Ideal Lux warranty.

What is three-phase track and is this compatible with standard track?

Three-phase track systems allow multiple circuits within a single track rail, enabling different zones of spotlights to be switched independently. This spotlight is designed for three-phase track systems and is not compatible with single-circuit or two-circuit track rails. Confirm your track type before ordering.

What does CRI90 mean in practice?

The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) measures how accurately a light source reveals colours compared to natural daylight. CRI90 is considered excellent — most retail and gallery applications use CRI90+ to show product colours, fabric tones and artwork accurately. Standard domestic LED bulbs typically sit at CRI80.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is not dimmable. If dimming control is needed across a track installation, consider a three-phase track system where individual circuits can be switched on or off to vary the total light output.

What beam angle is 36° suitable for?

A 36° beam is a medium-throw angle, suited to highlighting objects 2-4m away or washing feature walls. Narrower beams (15-24°) create tighter accent spots; wider beams (60°+) provide broader wash coverage.
