The Pristina V1 is a 30W LED track spotlight designed for three-phase track systems, with a cylindrical black aluminium body that rotates 350° on the track adapter and tilts 90° on the head joint. The integrated 30W LED provides 4000K cool white light through a 50° beam angle, making it suited to accent lighting in retail, gallery and hospitality settings where directional light is needed to highlight displays, merchandise or architectural features.

The three-phase track adapter clips onto standard three-phase track rails, allowing the spotlight to be positioned anywhere along the track run without hardwiring. The 350° rotation and 90° tilt range mean the light can be aimed at wall art, product shelving, or specific zones within a room, and re-aimed when the layout changes. The 50° beam provides a defined pool of light with soft edges, wider than a narrow spot but more focused than general floodlight.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures 180mm tall and 80mm in diameter, giving a clean cylindrical profile that suits modern and industrial interiors. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, providing neutral illumination that works for task-focused environments without the yellowish cast of 3000K or the stark clinical tone of 6000K. CRI80 colour rendering reproduces colours accurately enough for most retail and display applications, though not quite to the CRI90+ standard required for fine art galleries or colour-critical settings.

The spotlight carries an IP20 rating, restricting it to dry indoor use. The integrated LED is not user-replaceable, but the 30W module is rated for a long operating life and backed by a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux. Is this compatible with standard single-phase track?

No. The Pristina V1 requires a three-phase track system. Three-phase track has three separate live circuits running along the rail, allowing different groups of spotlights to be controlled independently. It is not compatible with single-phase or two-wire track systems.

Can the LED be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable. If dimming control is needed, consider a dimmable track spotlight model or use a three-phase track controller that can switch circuits on and off in groups.

What is the difference between CRI80 and CRI90?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reproduces colours compared to natural daylight. CRI80 is acceptable for most retail, hospitality and commercial applications. CRI90+ is preferred for art galleries, museums, high-end fashion retail and any setting where precise colour matching is critical.

How is the spotlight fitted to the track?

The three-phase track adapter on the back of the spotlight clips directly onto the track rail. A small locking lever or twist mechanism secures it in place.
