Prismora LED Desk Lamp 12.5W 4000K - Silver Adjustable Arm

The Prismora is an articulated LED desk lamp with a 580mm adjustable aluminium arm finished in silver, a circular base and an integrated 12.5W LED ring head that emits 4000K neutral white light. The arm extends on two pivot joints, allowing the lamp head to reach across a desk or work surface and be angled precisely where light is needed.

Designed for task lighting on desks, workbenches, studio tables and technical drawing surfaces, the Prismora provides focused directional light without glare. The adjustable LED diffuser inside the ring head directs light downwards onto the work surface, while the 4000K colour temperature suits environments where accurate colour rendering matters — graphic design, assembly work, model building, technical reading. The lamp is dimmable, allowing brightness adjustment via a compatible dimmer switch.

The silver aluminium construction keeps the lamp lightweight enough to reposition but rigid enough to hold adjusted angles without drift. The circular weighted base measures approximately 185mm in diameter and keeps the lamp stable when the arm is fully extended. The exposed black PVC cable runs from the base to a UK plug, ready for immediate use after unpacking. The IP20 rating limits the Prismora to indoor dry environments.

Is the Prismora dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific model — confirm with the manufacturer before pairing to avoid flicker or limited dimming range.

What's the difference between 4000K and warmer colour temperatures?

4000K is a neutral white that sits between warm white (2700K-3000K, which appears yellowish) and cool white (5000K-6500K, which appears blueish). Neutral white provides accurate colour rendering and is commonly used in office, studio and technical work environments where visual precision matters.

Does the arm stay in position once adjusted?

The articulated arm uses friction joints at both pivot points. When new, the joints hold the adjusted angle securely. Over time and repeated adjustment, the joints may loosen slightly — this is typical of articulated desk lamps and can be tightened by accessing the pivot screws if needed.

Can it be used on a bedside table?

The Prismora is designed as task lighting and emits 4000K neutral white light, which is cooler than the warm 2700K-3000K typically preferred for bedrooms. It can be used bedside if neutral white suits your reading preference, but warmer-toned lamps are generally more comfortable for evening use in bedrooms.
