Description
The Prisma is a 32cm blown-glass pendant light with a smoke-grey outer shade and a translucent inner layer, holding an integrated 15W 3000K LED tube at its core. The shade is suspended from three slim black cables that meet at a central point above, forming a triangular sling that supports the glass at three contact points and gives the fitting a hammock-like profile.
The double-layer construction is the defining feature: light from the linear LED travels along the horizontal axis of the shade, with the inner glass acting as a primary diffuser and the outer grey layer softening the output further into the room. This produces directional glow along the length of the tube while keeping the bulb itself partially veiled, so the pendant reads as a lit object rather than a bare light source.
At 32cm diameter and 26cm tall, the Prisma suits dining tables, kitchen islands, bedside drops and entrance halls without crowding the ceiling line. The 150cm cable length allows generous adjustment on installation, and the smoke-grey glass pairs comfortably with white, oak, walnut and concrete surfaces. The integrated LED removes the need for a separate bulb purchase and runs at 3000K for a warm-white tone suited to relaxed living areas.
Each glass shade is hand-blown, so minor variation in wall thickness, tonal density and surface character is part of the finish rather than a fault. The black metal end caps and matching textile-covered cables give the pendant a contemporary, slightly industrial frame that contrasts cleanly with the soft glass form.

Frequently Asked
Does the Prisma come with a bulb?
Yes. The Prisma uses an integrated 15W LED running at 3000K warm white, so no separate bulb purchase is needed. The LED is built into the central tube and is not user-replaceable in the way a screw-in bulb would be.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation, so the Prisma works in standard 2.4m rooms as well as taller spaces. Above a dining table the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the surface; over a bedside or hallway position it can be hung lower.
Why does the glass vary between pieces?
Each shade is hand-blown, which means small differences in wall thickness, tonal depth of the grey, and surface character occur between individual pendants. This is characteristic of blown glass and is not a defect.
What other colours are available?
The Prisma is also produced in clear, yellow and purple/pink versions, each with the same double-layer blown-glass construction and integrated LED. Search 'Prisma' on the Niori site to see other variants currently in stock.
