Description
The Prios is a 610mm semi-flush ceiling light built around three overlapping circular rings in matt white-painted metal, with an integrated 41W LED module casting 3000K warm white light through an opal plastic diffuser at the centre. The geometric ring structure sits approximately 100mm below the ceiling, making it a semi-flush rather than a true flush mount.
Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the Prios provides ambient room lighting rather than focused task light. The 41W LED output is calibrated for rooms of approximately 15-20m², where it delivers enough general illumination without needing additional ceiling fittings. The opal diffuser softens the LED into a diffuse glow, reducing glare while maintaining brightness across the room.
The three-ring structure measures 610mm at the widest point and 560mm front-to-back, giving the fitting an asymmetric footprint that breaks the symmetry of a standard circular flush mount. The matt white finish on the metal rings integrates cleanly into white or neutral ceilings while the geometric form reads as a design feature rather than purely functional hardware. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior spaces only.
Manufactured by Ideal Lux in Italy, the Prios carries a 5-year warranty. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, so the entire unit is rated for the LED lifespan rather than allowing bulb changes. Installation requires direct connection to mains wiring — this is not a plug-in fitting.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The 41W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The entire unit is rated for the LED lifespan, typically 25,000-30,000 hours depending on usage patterns.
What room size does it suit?
The 41W output at 3000K is calibrated for rooms of approximately 15-20m² as primary ambient lighting. Larger rooms may need a second fitting or supplementary task lighting, while smaller rooms may find the output too bright for relaxed evening use.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is suitable only for dry interior spaces. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher within zones 1 and 2 around baths and showers.
How is it fitted to the ceiling?
The Prios connects directly to mains wiring via a ceiling rose or junction box. The metal backplate fixes to the ceiling with screws, and the three-ring structure attaches to the backplate. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
