Description

The Portocolom is a ten light pendant built as a cluster. A round steel ceiling plate in a brass and gold finish drops ten black cords, and each cord ends in a slim gold ring holding a white globe of matt opal glass. The rings come in varying sizes and hang at staggered heights, so the globes fall in a loose cascade rather than a tidy line. It measures 58cm in diameter and 150cm high overall. Each globe has its own integrated LED of 3W, giving 350lm per light at 3000K, a warm light. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

With that 150cm height, this pendant suits a room with ceiling height to spare: a stairwell, a double-height hallway or a tall dining room, where the globes can fill the space without crowding anyone.
