The Portland Jute Border is a rug of 100% jute, made on a hand loom in a herringbone weave that gives the natural beige fibre a fine zigzag texture across the whole field. Our Green colourway frames that warm, sandy centre with an olive green border of 100% cotton, a clean line that sets the jute off against wooden floors and pale walls alike.

It sits happily in a living room, under a coffee table or in front of a sofa, and the larger sizes reach out to take the front legs of a sofa or sit under a bed. We offer it in 50 by 80cm, 60 by 120cm, 80 by 150cm, 120 by 170cm, 150 by 230cm and 180 by 270cm, along with runners of 60 by 230cm, 60 by 600cm, 60 by 800cm and 60 by 1000cm. The smaller sizes suit a bedside or a doorway, while the runners take a hallway, landing or corridor, with the longest lengths covering a long passage from end to end.
