The Portland Jute Border is a natural jute rug edged with a charcoal cotton border. The main field is 100% jute in a herringbone weave, so the surface carries a quiet zigzag texture in warm natural tones. The border is 100% cotton in a deep charcoal grey, framing the jute neatly and giving the rug a crisp, tailored outline. It is made on a hand loom, which suits the honest, textured character of the fibre.

Its neutral colouring makes it an easy choice for a living room, where a larger size can sit under a sofa and coffee table, or a bedroom, where it can run beneath the foot of the bed. The long runners are made for hallways and landings, giving a narrow space a warm, textured path from end to end.
