Description

The Points is a 330mm linear track light designed for magnetic track systems, housing an integrated 16W LED with a 3000K warm white output and a 36° beam angle. The black aluminium body measures 28mm high and 25mm wide, with the LED source recessed into the housing to reduce direct glare and keep the light source visually concealed when viewed from typical room positions.

Designed for accent and task lighting in retail displays, art galleries, residential kitchens and home offices, the Points mounts magnetically to compatible 48V DC magnetic tracks, allowing the fitting to be repositioned along the track length without tools. The recessed LED and 36° beam direct light onto specific surfaces or objects rather than flooding the room, making the fitting useful for highlighting artwork, worktops, shelving or architectural details. The magnetic mount holds the fitting in place while still allowing manual adjustment of the angle.

The black powder-coated aluminium body dissipates heat from the integrated LED, keeping the housing surface temperature within safe operating limits for IP20 indoor environments. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm white light comparable to halogen but with lower power consumption and longer service life. The fitting runs on DC 48V, which must be supplied by a compatible magnetic track system with an integrated driver. What track system does this fit?

The Points is designed for magnetic track systems running on DC 48V. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems or single-circuit tracks. Check that your existing track or the track you plan to install operates at DC 48V and uses magnetic attachment before ordering.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The 36° beam angle is fixed by the internal LED optics and cannot be changed. However, the entire fitting can be rotated and angled on the magnetic track to direct the beam where needed.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming capability depends on the magnetic track system's driver. If the track system includes a dimmable driver compatible with leading-edge, trailing-edge or DALI control, the Points will dim accordingly. The fitting itself does not contain dimming circuitry.

What's the light output in lumens?

The Points produces approximately 1,280 lumens at 16W and 3000K, though exact output may vary. The recessed source and 36° beam concentrate this output onto a defined area rather than spreading it across the room.
