Description

The Maytoni Points is a 43cm linear track light with integrated 24W LED, DALI dimming control, and adjustable colour temperature from 2700K to 6000K. The white aluminium body houses a recessed LED array that delivers focused light through a 36° beam angle, designed to mount onto Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system using a magnetic connection rather than traditional track clips.

Designed for residential, retail and hospitality applications where lighting colour and intensity need to adapt throughout the day, the Points supports DALI protocol control, allowing both brightness and colour temperature to be adjusted via compatible control systems, remotes or voice assistants. The 2700K setting provides warm residential lighting similar to halogen, while the 6000K setting delivers cooler, daylight-balanced light for task work or product display. The recessed LED positioning reduces direct glare, making the fitting suitable for eye-level installation in kitchens, dining areas, galleries and office environments.

The aluminium construction keeps weight down to approximately 0.5kg while maintaining rigidity on the track mount. The 48V DC supply voltage (provided by the Exility track system) allows multiple Points fittings to be run from a single driver without individual wiring to each light. The magnetic attachment means the fitting can be repositioned along the track length without tools, and the 36° beam provides defined pools of light rather than wide wash, making it effective for highlighting worktops, dining tables, artwork or merchandise. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments.

What track system does this fit?

The Points is designed specifically for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system and attaches via magnetic connection. It will not fit standard three-circuit track or other manufacturers' magnetic track without an adapter.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature is controlled via DALI protocol using a compatible DALI controller, remote or app-based system connected to the Exility track's DALI bus. The fitting cannot be adjusted manually without a DALI control device.

Can multiple Points be run from one driver?

Yes. The Exility track system runs at 48V DC and supplies power to all connected fittings from a single driver. The driver capacity determines how many Points can be installed on one track run — consult the Exility track specification for maximum combined wattage.

What beam angle does it provide?

The Points has a 36° beam angle, producing defined pools of light rather than wide flood. This makes it effective for highlighting specific areas such as worktops, dining tables or display shelves rather than providing broad ambient lighting.
