Description

The Points is an 18W DALI CCT LED linear track light designed for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system, measuring 327mm long in a white aluminium housing. The integrated LED runs on 48V DC from the track and offers adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white through to 6000K cool white, controlled via DALI protocol. The 36° beam angle focuses light downward with minimal spill, making it effective for accent lighting over kitchen worktops, retail displays, or task zones in offices.

The track light installs onto the magnetic Exility rail via a recessed connector on the back of the housing, allowing it to be positioned, repositioned or removed without tools once the track is powered. DALI dimming requires a DALI-compatible driver and control system (not included), which enables precise brightness adjustment and colour temperature tuning from a wall panel, automation system, or building management interface. The recessed LED sits behind a white diffuser that reduces glare and smooths the light output along the 327mm length.

The white powder-coated aluminium housing measures 44mm high and 23mm wide, giving the fitting a low-profile appearance when mounted on the track. The IP20 rating suits dry interior use in residential, commercial and hospitality settings. The aluminium construction acts as a passive heatsink to manage LED thermal performance, contributing to the rated lifespan of the LED source. The 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the housing and LED module.

Because the Points operates on 48V DC supplied by the Exility track system, it requires a compatible Maytoni Exility track with a suitable mains-to-48V driver. The track itself mounts to the ceiling and carries both power and data for DALI control, meaning individual track lights do not need separate wiring once the system is installed. This makes the Points suitable for lighting schemes where flexibility and reconfiguration are valued, such as gallery walls, showrooms, or kitchens where lighting needs may change over time.

The Points is designed specifically for Maytoni's magnetic Exility track system, which runs on 48V DC and supports DALI control. It will not fit standard 240V mains track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

Colour temperature adjustment requires a DALI-compatible control system connected to the Exility track driver. Once installed, you can adjust the colour between 2700K and 6000K via a DALI controller, wall panel, or building automation interface.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the housing and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for a long operational lifespan and is covered by the 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
