Description

This pleated white candle shade clips directly onto chandelier or wall light candle bulbs, providing a 155mm base diameter that tapers to an 85mm top opening with a 125mm overall height. The shade is made from white polycotton fabric with vertical pleating that runs from base to top, creating a textured surface that diffuses light evenly while maintaining a clean, neutral appearance.

Designed for chandeliers, wall lights and table lamps that use candle-style bulbs, the shade clips onto the bulb itself rather than requiring a separate fitting or harp. This makes it compatible with most E14 and SES candle bulbs where the shade needs to sit directly on the bulb. The white polycotton diffuses and softens the light output, reducing glare from exposed filament bulbs and creating a warmer, more ambient glow in the room.

The pleated construction gives the shade structural rigidity without adding weight, while the pure white colour provides a neutral base that pairs with both traditional brass and chrome chandelier frames, as well as painted or wrought-iron finishes. The 155mm base diameter suits small to medium chandeliers and wall lights where individual candle arms are spaced at least 200mm apart. On larger chandeliers with closely spaced arms, check that adjacent shades will not touch when all are fitted.

Can it be used with LED bulbs?

Yes. The polycotton fabric tolerates the low heat output of LED candle bulbs without issue. For halogen or incandescent candle bulbs, ensure the bulb wattage does not exceed the manufacturer's rating to prevent overheating the fabric.

How is the shade cleaned?

Dust can be removed with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner on low suction using an upholstery attachment. Do not wash or wet-clean the shade as the pleating is heat-set and may relax if exposed to water.
