Description

The Plato is an 18.5cm diameter LED pendant light with a white aluminium body and integrated 12W 3000K LED behind a frosted glass diffuser. The cylindrical canopy and pendant head share a matching white finish, and the height is adjustable from 35cm minimum to 195cm maximum using a simple pull-and-lock cable mechanism that requires no tools.

Designed for kitchen worktops, dining tables, bedside reading positions and home office desks, the Plato provides general downlight with a 120° beam angle that covers approximately 1.5-2m diameter at typical pendant heights. The height-adjust mechanism allows the pendant to be raised or lowered after installation, making it useful in rooms where ceiling heights vary or where the functional height above a surface changes with furniture rearrangement. The cable runs through a pull-and-lock mechanism inside the canopy. Pull the pendant head downwards to lengthen the drop, or push upwards to shorten it. The mechanism locks the cable in place at any point between 35cm and 195cm without needing tools or rewiring.

Is the Plato dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 12W on 220-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with the Maytoni driver.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Plato to dry interior locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered positions where moisture is present.
