Plantation 7 Light Chandelier - Polished Antique Nickel

The Plantation is a 7-light chandelier built around a pineapple-shaped clear optic glass centrepiece, suspended on a polished antique nickel frame with cast pineapple leaf detailing at each joint. Five of the seven arms carry cream fabric bell shades, while two central candles sit exposed. Each arm takes an E14 candle bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately), giving a combined 280W maximum load.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and drawing rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the chandelier measures 711mm diameter and 890mm fitting height. The 1524mm chain allows drop adjustment between 980mm minimum and 2505mm maximum on installation, so it can be set 700-900mm above a dining table depending on room proportions. The polished antique nickel finish gives a warmer metallic tone than chrome or polished nickel, sitting between traditional brass and cooler silver finishes.

The pineapple glass is hand-cut with faceted optic panels that refract light when the bulbs are lit, casting scattered points of light onto surrounding walls and ceilings. The cream fabric shades soften the direct glare from five of the seven bulbs, while the two exposed central candles provide unshaded uplight. The cast detailing on the arms, chain links and canopy includes textured pineapple leaves and diamond-pattern collars that add depth to the metalwork when viewed up close.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes seven E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K to mimic traditional filament light without the heat load of seven 40W halogen or incandescent bulbs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 980mm minimum drop suits ceiling heights of 2.6m or above when hung over a dining table. For entrance halls or double-height spaces, the 2505mm maximum drop allows the chandelier to be positioned lower into the room volume. The chain is adjustable on installation by removing links.

Are the shades included?

Yes. Five cream fabric bell shades are supplied with the chandelier. Two of the seven arms carry exposed candle bulbs without shades, positioned centrally on the fitting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you install. LED E14 candle bulbs vary in dimmer tolerance, so choose bulbs marked as dimmable if pairing with a dimmer switch, and test compatibility before installing all seven.
