Small enough to vanish into the fittings it serves, this clear G9 capsule draws 7W and gives 540 lumens in return. The colour is a neutral 4000K, a clean white rather than the warmer yellow of a traditional lamp, so whites stay white and colours read honestly. Light leaves the capsule all round rather than in one direction, which suits shades and diffusers that need filling evenly. It dims on a compatible dimmer, and as no dimmer comes with it, pair it with one rated for LED loads.
