Description

The Pippa Floral is a printed rug with a soft blue ground, scattered with large cream blooms, terracotta and blue flowers, trailing green leaves, songbirds and the odd butterfly. It has the gentle, romantic look of a botanical painting, with the floral pattern running across the whole rug and a slim bound edge finishing it neatly. The design is digitally printed onto polyester, so the fine detail comes through clearly, from the shading on each petal to the markings on the birds.

We think it is at its best in a hallway, where a runner brings colour to a long stretch of floor. It comes as a 61 by 170cm runner or a 76 by 230cm runner, so you can suit a short entrance or a longer passage. The rectangular sizes work well in a living room too: 76 by 150cm fits beside a chair or a console table, while 122 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sit comfortably in front of a sofa and pull a seating area together.
