Description

The Pietra is a 1700mm floor lamp with four curved antique brass stems rising from a rectangular base, each stem topped with a frosted glass floral shade. The four G9 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately) sit inside the petal-shaped shades, which diffuse the light through the frosted outer petals while allowing some direct light through the clear inner sections. The lamp provides layered ambient light rather than focused task light.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounge areas where decorative lighting is the priority, the Pietra works as a secondary light source alongside ceiling fittings. The 1700mm height positions the glass shades at approximately 1500-1600mm above floor level, giving the lamp presence without obstructing sightlines across a room. The rectangular base measures 420mm × 330mm and weighs 10.3kg, giving stability on bare floors and short-pile rugs without needing to be bolted down.

The antique brass finish shows darker tonal variation and subtle patina compared to polished brass, with a low-sheen surface that absorbs rather than reflects room light. Each frosted glass shade is shaped to resemble an open flower with translucent petals radiating from a clear glass centre, so when lit the lamp shows both diffused glow through the frosted sections and brighter pinpoints of light through the clear glass. The stems curve outward and upward in slightly different directions, giving the lamp an asymmetric botanical silhouette.

The Pietra is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Mantra specifies that this lamp is not compatible with LED or CFL bulbs — use halogen G9 capsules only, with a combined maximum load of 160W across the four fittings (typically 4 × 40W or 4 × 33W halogen capsules).
