The Penta Lavatus in Gold is a modern abstract rug with the loose, layered look of a painted wall. Washes of soft cream and pale grey run across the whole design, broken by brushed patches and streaks of warm gold that drift from edge to edge without settling into a fixed repeat. It is machine woven from a polyester and viscose blend, and its multi-textured pile gives the pattern depth and a varied feel underfoot.
