Description

The Penn Station is a 3-light pendant chandelier built around a cylindrical clear glass shade held by brushed nickel straps that curve up from the base to the ceiling canopy. Three E14 bulbs (sold separately, max 40W each) sit vertically inside the glass cylinder, visible through the clear glass from all angles. The brushed nickel frame includes a curved top bracket and matching canopy at ceiling level, with the cable run concealed within the central rod.

Designed for hallways, kitchen islands and dining tables, the Penn Station hangs with an adjustable drop between 777mm minimum and 1677mm maximum, set during installation. The 330mm diameter glass cylinder provides enough width to anchor the piece visually over a 1200-1800mm table or island without overwhelming smaller spaces. The clear glass maximises light distribution in all directions while the exposed bulbs give the fitting an industrial character that works across transitional, contemporary and industrial-styled interiors.

The brushed nickel finish on the metalwork has a low-sheen satin surface that softens reflections and pairs with both warm and cool palettes. The glass cylinder is secured at top and bottom by metal bands, with the curved support straps adding structural detail to what would otherwise be a plain lantern silhouette. At 597mm fitting height plus the adjustable drop, the chandelier requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m to hang at a comfortable 700-800mm above a dining table surface.

What bulbs does it take?

The Penn Station takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, maximum 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow that suits dining and hallway applications.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is adjustable between 777mm and 1677mm during installation only. Once the ceiling canopy is fixed and the cable secured, the height cannot be changed without dismantling the fitting. Measure your intended hanging height before starting the installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

With a minimum drop of 777mm plus the 597mm fitting height, the chandelier requires at least 2.4m ceiling height to hang 700-800mm above a table surface. Lower ceilings may find the piece hangs too low for comfortable head clearance.

Is the glass removable for cleaning?

The glass cylinder is held by metal bands at top and bottom. The lower band typically releases to allow the glass to be removed for cleaning. Clean the clear glass with glass cleaner and a soft cloth, avoiding abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
