Description

The Penn Station is a 330mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a clear glass bowl held in place by four curved metal straps that meet at a central brushed nickel hub. The light sits 267mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a traditional pendant would hang too low. A single E27 bulb inside the glass bowl casts light in all directions, with the clear glass providing minimal diffusion.

Designed for hallways, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms (check IP rating for wet zones), the Penn Station works as primary or secondary lighting depending on room size and bulb choice. The semi-flush mount places the fitting closer to the ceiling than a pendant but projects further than a true flush mount, giving a balance between headroom clearance and visual presence. The four-strap frame references early 20th-century industrial fixtures without the weight or scale of period originals.

The brushed nickel finish on the metalwork has a soft satin sheen that reads as cool grey-silver under daylight and pairs with chrome taps, stainless steel appliances and contemporary interiors.
