Description
The Paz is a six-light ceiling light that sets six white globes of matt opal glass across a steel frame finished in black and brushed brass. Four globes sit along the black frame, while two hang a little lower on angled brushed brass arms, so the light spreads at more than one height. It measures 77.5cm long, 49.5cm wide and 22.5cm high, which gives it real presence over a table or in the middle of a room. Each globe takes an E14 bulb, up to 40W, and the bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of light yourself. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room.
We would fit it over a dining table, in a living room or in a generous hallway or landing where a single pendant would look lost. The opal glass softens each bulb into an even glow, so the light falls gently across the room rather than in hard spots. The mix of black and brushed brass works with dark woods, warm metals and plain painted walls alike, and suits a modern home. At 22.5cm high it sits fairly close to the ceiling, which helps in rooms where a long drop is not practical.
The frame is steel, finished in black with brushed brass arms, and the six shades are white matt opal glass. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off at the wall switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and, as a wired-in ceiling light, is installed by a qualified electrician. The packed weight is 4.825KG, and the installation instructions come as a download. Have six E14 bulbs of 40W or less ready before fitting day, and the room is lit from the first evening.

Frequently Asked
Can the Paz ceiling light go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for dry rooms indoors, so we would keep it out of bathrooms and away from water.
Which bulbs does it take?
It takes six E14 bulbs of up to 40W each, and the bulbs are not included, so you can choose the warmth of light that suits the room.
How big is the Paz ceiling light?
It is 77.5cm long, 49.5cm wide and 22.5cm high, so it suits a dining table, a living room or a generous landing.
What material are the shades?
The six globes are white matt opal glass, which spreads the light softly and evenly rather than showing a bright point from each bulb.
Does it have its own switch?
No, there is no switch on the light. It is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off at your wall switch.
What finish is the frame?
The steel frame is black, and the angled arms that hold two of the globes are brushed brass, a pairing that works with dark wood and warm metal.
