This porcelain tea cup and saucer brings Ariel, the red-haired mermaid princess, to the tea table in soft pastel green. The cup sits on a short footed base with a rounded bowl, and on its front a printed decal shows Ariel holding a little shell, framed by a gold-coloured oval and a garland of flowers and leaves. Inside, the glaze is a deeper green, and the words 'Shine like the Sea' are printed in white just inside the rim. The matching saucer carries 'Dreaming of Another World' in white lettering all the way round its edge. A gold-coloured rim runs round both cup and saucer, and the curved handle is gold-coloured too.
