Description

The Passiflora Vintage Washable Rug in Mulberry is a floral rug with a rich, old fashioned feel. Large pale pink blooms, coral red flowers and creamy white passion flowers sit among broad green leaves and fine trailing stems, all on a deep mulberry purple ground. The flowers are scattered evenly across the whole surface, so the design looks right from every side of the room. It is digitally printed on 100% polyester, and the print carries fine detail in every petal and leaf.

In a living room it brings colour and warmth to a grey or neutral scheme, and its mulberry and leaf green tones suit a vintage or traditional look. Smaller sizes suit a hallway or an entrance, where a printed floral rug gives a cheerful welcome as soon as you step in. We sell it in 76 by 150cm, as a 61 by 230cm runner for a long hallway, and in 120 by 170cm, 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm, which is large enough to sit under the front of a sofa and chairs.

The rug is washable, which settles the worry about spills, muddy footprints and everyday marks in the rooms that see the most traffic. That makes it a sensible choice for a busy hallway or a well used living room, where a pale plain rug would soon show its wear. Before you choose, measure your space and allow a margin of floor around the edges, then pick the size that sits best in the room.
