Description

Passiflora is a printed rug covered in passion flowers, trailing stems and broad leaves, laid over a soft blue ground in the Mineral colourway. The leaves run through olive and deep green, and the blooms open in cream and blush pink, with the fine detail of each petal brought out by digital printing. It is made entirely from polyester, and the design has a romantic, botanical feel that suits warm wood floors and soft furnishings.

We sell Passiflora in five sizes, so the same design can work through the house. The 61 by 230cm runner is made for a hallway or a long landing, and the 76 by 150cm size suits an entrance, a spot by a back door or the side of a bed. At 120 by 170cm it anchors a reading chair or a smaller living room, while the 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm sizes sit under a sofa and coffee table or beneath a double bed, framing the furniture in flowers.

Because it is washable, everyday marks from shoes, paws or spilled tea are less of a worry, which makes it a sensible choice for a busy hallway or a family living room. With every size carrying the same design, a runner in the hall and a larger rug in the living room look like a pair. Before you order, measure the floor and allow a border of bare floor around the rug; in a living room, letting the front feet of the sofa rest on it usually looks best.
