Description

The Pars is a 104.9cm linear LED wall light built from a slender aluminium profile that passes vertically through a rectangular black housing positioned off-centre along its length. The housing conceals the driver and mounting hardware while the profile itself carries integrated 12W 3000K LEDs that cast light both upwards and downwards, creating symmetrical wash patterns on the wall above and below the fitting.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living room feature walls and bedrooms, the Pars works where wall space is available to show off the full 1m+ length and where ambient wash lighting is preferred over directed task light. The black housing measures 7cm wide by 3cm deep and acts as a visual anchor point along the profile, while the gold-finished edges of the housing provide a warm metallic accent against the matt black aluminium. The fitting mounts flush to the wall with all fixings hidden behind the housing.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight low despite the length, and the IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, matching incandescent and halogen lighting in traditional and contemporary interiors without the cooler blue cast of 4000K+ LEDs. The integrated driver runs on standard UK 220-240V mains with no external transformer needed, simplifying installation.

The integrated LED is a fixed 12W output. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch used. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with your installation.

What wall clearance is needed?

The fitting projects 3cm from the wall once mounted. The light washes both upwards and downwards, so a minimum of 30-40cm clearance above and below the housing is recommended to show the full wash effect without obstruction from ceilings, skirting or furniture.

Can it be installed horizontally?

The Pars is designed for vertical mounting with the profile running floor-to-ceiling. Horizontal installation is mechanically possible but would change the intended up-and-down wash pattern to side-to-side, which may not suit the room layout.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating is for dry indoor spaces only and does not provide protection against moisture or water ingress required for bathroom zones.
