Description

The Parish is a 540mm pedestal light with a six-panel clear glass lantern housed in a die-cast aluminium frame finished in black powder coat. The lantern sits on a hexagonal plinth base and takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) inside the glass enclosure. The IP44 rating protects against rain and dust ingress, making it suitable for exposed UK outdoor installations.

Designed for mounting on low garden walls, brick gate pillars, driveway entrance posts and patio edges, the Parish sits at a height that guides foot traffic without producing glare at eye level. The 230mm diameter footprint fits standard 200-240mm wide brick piers and post caps. The clear glass panels transmit the full colour temperature of the bulb, so a warm-white E27 LED produces ambient yellow-white light, while a cool daylight bulb gives crisper illumination for security applications.

The die-cast aluminium construction gives corrosion resistance superior to steel or mild steel alternatives in coastal and high-rainfall regions. The black powder coat finish is baked onto the metal and shows minimal UV fading over time compared to painted finishes. The hinged door at the base of the lantern allows bulb replacement without removing the entire fitting from the pillar or post.
