Description

Our Parcel Christmas coir doormat is printed to look like a wrapped present. A red and white candy striped ribbon runs across and down the mat and ties in a looped bow, with a sprig of green holly and red berries tucked beside it and a red gift tag that reads Merry Christmas. A postmark and stamp sit in the top corner, and white dots fall across the mat like snow. The design is printed over natural coir, so the warm golden brown of the fibre stands in for the wrapping paper. It is machine tufted entirely from coir, the natural fibre from the husk of the coconut.

It is a doormat for just inside the front door, where it greets family and friends as they arrive over Christmas, and it works just as well inside the back door. It comes in a single size, 45 by 75cm, a neat rectangle for a single doorway. It suits anyone who likes to dress the house for December, and it makes a cheerful gift.

There is one decision to make before you order: the space. Measure the floor inside your door and check that a 45 by 75cm mat will lie flat and clear of the door as it swings open. The red ribbon and tag pick up a red front door, a wreath or the decorations in your hall, and the natural coir looks at home on a wooden floor. When the decorations come down, lift it and store it with them until next December.
