Description

The Papillon is a sculptural LED wall light built from two overlapping tinted glass semi-circles, one in smoke silver and one in warm bronze, mounted offset on a slim brass spine with three exposed brass fixings. An integrated 6W 3000K LED strip runs along the central spine, washing both glass panels from behind so each half-disc glows in its own tonal cast.

At 50cm tall and 28cm wide, the Papillon suits hallways, stairwell walls, bedside positions and living room feature walls where a piece of wall art doubles as a low-output light source. The output is decorative and ambient rather than task-grade, so it works alongside primary ceiling or floor lighting rather than replacing it. The fitting projects only modestly from the wall, making it usable in narrow corridors where a swing-arm or bowl-shaded sconce would intrude.

The two glass panels are tinted rather than painted, so the colour holds whether the light is switched on or off. When lit, the silver half reads cooler and the bronze half reads warmer, with a soft overlap zone where the two discs cross. The brass spine and three round brass fixings remain visible as a deliberate design element, giving the piece a defined vertical axis against the curved glass forms. Integrated LED means there is no bulb to source or replace.
