Description

The Paola is a 1m linear chandelier with two symmetrical gold-painted arms extending from a central stem, each holding three E14 bulb fittings behind cream fabric shades. Six crystal droplets hang beneath the arms on slender gold-finished stems, catching light as the fixture is viewed from below. The chain suspension allows drop adjustment between 680mm and 1680mm to suit different ceiling heights.

The Paola is designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and in hallways where the 1m width can be aligned with the length of the surface or passage below. The linear form distributes light evenly across the span rather than concentrating it in a single point, making the Paola particularly suited to rectangular tables between 1.6m and 2.4m long. The twin-arm symmetry works in both traditional and transitional interiors where a classical form is needed without heavy ornament.

The cream fabric shades soften the light from each bulb and prevent direct glare when the chandelier is hung at typical dining height (700-800mm above the table surface). The gold-painted finish on the metalwork has a warm, slightly antique tone that sits between polished brass and aged bronze, pairing with warm wood tones, cream walls and neutral upholstery. The crystal droplets are facet-cut to refract light without adding significant visual weight to the overall frame. At 3.5kg total weight, the Paola requires a ceiling rose rated for the combined load of the fixture and the chain length used.

The E14 sockets take dimmable candle bulbs, and the 190mm depth keeps the fitting close against the ceiling line.

The chandelier uses six E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with 4-6W warm white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What table length does the 1m width suit?

The 1m span works over dining tables between 1.6m and 2.4m long. For shorter tables the chandelier may overhang the ends; for tables longer than 2.4m consider pairing two Paola chandeliers in tandem or choosing a wider multi-arm design.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chain allows adjustment between 680mm minimum and 1680mm maximum drop. Chain links are removed or retained during installation to set the final height. For dining table installation, position the chandelier 700-800mm above the table surface.

Can the cream shades be cleaned?

The fabric shades can be gently vacuumed with a soft brush attachment or spot-cleaned with a barely-damp microfibre cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric or using chemical sprays, as this may discolour or shrink the material.
