Description

The Paola is a 70cm diameter 5-light chandelier built around a gold painted metal frame with curved arms that loop outward and upward from a central column. Each arm terminates in a black fabric conical shade housing an E14 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). Five small crystal droplets hang from the base of the frame, catching and reflecting light from the bulbs above.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Paola suits spaces where both ambient and decorative lighting are needed. The adjustable drop of 532-1900mm allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or set higher in a double-height entrance. The 70cm diameter works over tables seating 6-8 people or in living rooms of 16-25m². The gold frame provides warm metallic accent while the black shades direct light downward and outward rather than creating glare.

The curved arm design and gold painted finish place the Paola between traditional and contemporary styles, working with both classical interiors and warm-toned modern schemes. The matte black fabric shades absorb upward light and focus output below and to the sides, while the crystal droplets add movement and sparkle when the chandelier is lit. The 4kg weight requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 8kg, and the gold painted finish is a surface coating rather than solid brass or gold leaf.
