Description
The Palace is a compact wall light built around a cylindrical antique gold metal frame with ornate scrollwork bordering the top rim, beneath which three tiers of cut crystal droplets cascade down a central drum. The top tier features faceted bead strands that catch and diffuse light across the ornamental metalwork, while the middle and lower tiers use larger prismatic crystal pendants that throw spectral reflections when lit. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the drum, its light filtering through the crystal layers.
Designed for hallways, stairwell landings, beside bedroom mirrors, and as accent lighting flanking fireplaces or doorways, the Palace provides decorative rather than primary room lighting. The 17cm width and 18.4cm height suit wall positions where a full chandelier would overwhelm but ambient accent light is wanted. The antique gold finish carries a warm bronze undertone that pairs with traditional interiors, period properties, and classical colour schemes built around golds, creams, and burgundies.
The scrollwork border at the top of the drum is cast metal rather than stamped, giving three-dimensional relief to the foliage and spiral motifs. The crystal droplets are facet-cut glass rather than acrylic, providing sharper light refraction and a heavier weight that affects how the pendants move in air currents. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only — bathrooms and outdoor positions are unsuitable.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Palace takes one E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 4-6W and 2700K for ambient glow that shows off the crystal droplets without harsh glare.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher for zones near water sources.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn dust, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystals or using spray cleaners that can leave residue on the facets.
What's the projection from the wall?
The length (depth from wall) is 11.9cm, so the fitting projects just under 12cm once mounted. This compact projection suits hallways and landings where deeper wall lights would intrude into circulation space.
