Description

Our Paff Side Table Tall began with a simple idea: give a favourite chair a companion that holds a lamp, a book and a cup of coffee without demanding much floor space. It is a small rounded-rectangle side table on four round tapered legs, with a marble top that gives it a gentler line than most hard-edged pieces. It stands 43cm tall, which sits it neatly beside a sofa arm or an occasional chair, and its 50cm by 35cm footprint keeps it tidy against a wall or between two seats. The Emperador finish brings a warm, deep-toned marble character to the top, pairing well with oak and darker woods elsewhere in the room.

The frame is built from oak and oak veneer, with aluminium and MDF completing the structure, and the Emperador top carries the rich brown veining that gives this version its name. We keep the construction honest and the surfaces matt where they need to be, so the piece reads as considered rather than showy. At 11.4kg it feels planted and steady, holding a table lamp base or a small stack of magazines without shifting. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, so you can have it in place and useful the same afternoon it arrives.

Paff draws on the same design thinking across the wider range, and it is tested to the EN 16139 seating standard and to EN 71-3 for the migration of certain elements.
