Description

The Ozora is an 82mm recessed downlight with a matt black metal bezel and a tiltable GU10 lamp holder set within a low-profile 20mm ceiling housing. The lamp holder can be angled to direct light across a wall, onto a surface, or straight down for general illumination, giving the fitting flexibility beyond a fixed downlight.

Designed for ceilings in living rooms, kitchens, hallways and commercial environments, the Ozora requires a standard recessed downlight cut-out of approximately 68-70mm diameter and a ceiling void depth of at least 60mm above the plasterboard. The fitting accepts any GU10 bulb up to the maximum wattage shown in the specification table (sold separately). Dimming capability depends on pairing a dimmable GU10 bulb with a compatible dimmer switch.

The matt black finish on the bezel provides a contemporary accent against white or neutral ceilings and pairs well with black ironmongery, graphite kitchen cabinetry and industrial-style interiors. The metal construction dissipates heat efficiently when fitted with LED GU10 bulbs, and the IP20 rating confirms the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only. The tilt mechanism allows the lamp to be adjusted after installation without removing the bezel.

What bulb does it take and is it included?

The Ozora takes a standard GU10 bulb, sold separately. Most users fit a 5-7W LED GU10 in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general room lighting or a higher-output 10W version for task lighting over kitchen worktops.

Can the light be angled after installation?

Yes. The GU10 lamp holder tilts within the bezel, allowing the light direction to be adjusted without removing the fitting from the ceiling. This is useful for wall-washing, highlighting artwork, or directing light onto specific surfaces.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself supports dimming when paired with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible GU10 dimmer switch. Not all GU10 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before fitting.

What ceiling void depth is required?

A minimum void depth of approximately 60mm above the plasterboard is needed to accommodate the lamp holder and connection block. The visible bezel sits 20mm proud of the ceiling surface once installed.
