The Ottilia is a 2-light crystal bowl wall light built around a gold-finished metal frame with a perforated decorative band running along the top edge. Faceted crystals in graduated sizes cascade down from the metal rim in overlapping rows, forming a semi-circular basket that catches and refracts ambient light across the room. Each arm houses a single E14 bulb behind the crystal curtain.

Designed for hallways, bedroom walls flanking a headboard, or as accent lighting in living rooms and dining rooms, the Ottilia provides both direct task light through the E14 bulbs and decorative sparkle from the crystal facets. The 25cm width and 13cm projection suit walls in rooms with 2.4m+ ceilings where a traditional aesthetic is wanted without the scale of a full chandelier. The bowl shape directs most light upward and outward rather than downward, making it better suited for ambient and decorative use than focused task lighting.

The Ottilia takes two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to complement the gold frame and traditional aesthetic.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor spaces. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or any location where it might be exposed to moisture or steam.

How is the crystal maintained?

The faceted glass crystals can be dusted with a soft microfibre cloth while the bulbs are off and cool. For deeper cleaning, individual crystals can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dried immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid household glass cleaners as residue can dull the facets over time.
