Description

The Osier is a ceramic pendant light: a slim cylinder shade in a Matt White Striped glaze, its surface lined with fine vertical stripes from the rounded shoulder down to the open rim, hung on its cable from a stepped gallery. It is 22cm tall and 11.5cm across, comes with 1m of cable as standard, and is made of brass, ceramic and glass. The metalwork comes in Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black or Polished Brass, the Matt Black being RAL 9005, and every finish pairs with the same Matt White Striped shade. Light falls down through the open base. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes 1 x E27 bulb, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED).

Because the shade is only 11.5cm across, the Osier suits places where a larger pendant would crowd the room: hung singly over a side table or reading chair in a living room, or in a row over a dining table, where several together light the length of the table. It is rated IP44, so it can also go in a bathroom, where the white ceramic sits comfortably beside tiles and stone. The five finishes let you match it to what is already there: Satin Brass, Antique Brass or Polished Brass for warmth against the white glaze, Antique Silver for a cooler look, or Matt Black for crisp contrast.

Each Osier is made to order for you in Ireland, with its Matt White Striped glaze on the ceramic shade and the metalwork in the finish you choose. It is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered.
