Description

The Orion is a 600mm-diameter ring chandelier built from 27 natural Spanish alabaster panels set into a brushed brass frame. The panels sit between an inner and outer brass band, forming a continuous low-profile ring just 100mm tall. Twenty-seven G4 lamp sockets sit behind the alabaster, lighting each panel individually so the entire ring glows as a single horizontal band of warm, diffused light.

Suspended on four fine cables from a circular brushed brass canopy, the Orion suits dining rooms, open-plan living areas, hallways with double-height ceilings and stairwell voids where a horizontal light source reads better than a vertical one. The shallow 100mm ring height keeps the fitting visually quiet while the 600mm diameter gives it enough scale to anchor a 6-8 seat dining table or a large coffee table below. Suspension drop is adjustable on installation.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so veining patterns and tonal variations differ across the 27 segments. When unlit the ring reads as a soft white band against the warm brass; when lit, the translucency of the stone comes forward and the natural mineral patterns become visible. The brushed finish on the brass softens reflections and avoids the high-gloss look of polished brass, pairing comfortably with both warm and cooler interior palettes.
