Description

The Ordo is an 8cm diameter LED pendant light built around a vertical-ribbed smoky glass cylinder suspended from a matt black metal canopy on a braided cable. An integrated 8W 3000K LED sits inside the glass, casting warm light through the ribbed smoky glass, which diffuses the source while creating shadow-and-light stripes on surrounding surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.8m, the Ordo works as a single feature pendant or in multiples spaced 60-80cm apart over longer surfaces. The 73-365cm adjustable drop allows the pendant to be set 60-70cm above a worktop or 70-90cm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The narrow 8cm diameter makes it suitable for tighter spaces where a wider pendant would visually overwhelm.

The ribbed glass cylinder is moulded with vertical flutes that reference classical column architecture, giving the pendant a structured profile when viewed from the side. The smoky tint on the glass reduces glare from the LED inside while maintaining transparency, so the fitting still reads as glass rather than opaque. The matt black canopy and cable create visual weight at the top, balancing the slender cylinder below. The IP20 rating limits the Ordo to dry indoor use only.

Wipe the glass cylinder with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings or allowing water to enter the LED housing at the top of the glass.
