Description

The Ordo is an 8cm diameter pendant light built around a vertically ribbed cognac glass cylinder, suspended from a black metal canopy on a braided cable. An integrated 8W LED at 3000K sits inside the glass, casting warm light through the amber-tinted ribs. The vertical embossing on the glass creates a column-like texture that refracts light into vertical bars on surrounding surfaces.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and in entrance halls, the Ordo works individually as a focused accent or in rows of two or three for zoned task lighting. The adjustable suspension extends from 733mm to 3650mm, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or 600mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The 8cm slender profile keeps the fitting unobtrusive in narrower spaces where a wider pendant would dominate sightlines.

The cognac glass is a warm amber tone rather than clear or frosted, which softens the LED output and gives the pendant a decorative presence even when switched off. The black metal canopy and cable provide contrast against the amber glass and pair cleanly with matt black tapware, cabinetry hardware and door furniture. The ribbed texture on the glass references mid-century Scandinavian and Art Deco glasswork without replicating a specific historical style.
