Description

Built from our steel with aluminium, PP and PMMA components, this table lamp keeps a slim profile that we like across a range of settings. The form is straightforward: a vertical stem bends into a horizontal bar, all standing on a flat round base. There is no shade here, and that is deliberate, because the light comes from a built-in LED panel set along the bar. Finished in Brushed Steel, the metal has a soft, matt quality that suits a plainer table or a shelf just as readily as a busier one. At 44.5cm tall, 44.7cm wide and 17.7cm deep, it holds a compact footprint, and at 1.6kg it is light enough to move from room to room without fuss.

The lighting figures matter to us, so we have kept them honest. The 11W LED panel gives 500 lumen at 3000K, a warm white that reads comfortably for reading or working late. With a CRI of 93, colours stay true under it, which we think you will notice on paper, fabric and skin tones alike. The lamp is dimmable, so you can bring the level down for quieter evenings, and the panel is rated for roughly 25000 light hours before you would think about replacement. A 2m black cord runs to the plug, and there is a USB port included on the fitting itself, handy for charging a phone alongside it while you work.
