Built for commercial environments where consistent light levels and low maintenance are required, the Omera integrates with standard 600mm grid ceilings used in offices, conference rooms, lobbies and retail spaces. The IP20 rating limits it to indoor dry environments only, not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor covered areas. The panel is not dimmable and runs on 230V mains supply via a fixed integral driver housed in the back box.

The CRI80 colour rendering provides adequate colour fidelity for general workspace and circulation areas, though not to the CRI90+ standard needed for colour-critical work like textile showrooms or art studios. The 3000K colour temperature falls into the warm-white category, producing a slightly yellower cast than the 4000K neutral-white commonly used in open-plan offices. The 40W load delivers approximately 3600-4000 lumens depending on driver efficiency, comparable to a traditional 4-lamp T8 fluorescent modular fitting. Does this fit a standard 600mm ceiling grid?

Yes. The 595mm square dimension is the industry standard for panels that drop into 600x600mm modular suspended ceiling grids, allowing approximately 2.5mm clearance per side for fitting and removal. The panel can also be recessed into plasterboard ceilings with an appropriate mounting frame.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming and the panel must run at full output when switched on. If dimming is required, consider alternative models with DALI or 0-10V dimmable drivers.

What's the difference between CRI80 and higher CRI ratings?

CRI80 provides good general colour rendering suitable for offices, corridors and circulation areas.
