Description

The Olympia is a modern shaggy rug in grey and red, with soft cream at the heart of each shape. Bold red diamonds sit within a grey lattice, each framing a cream centre. It is machine made in polyester with a multi-textured pile. The pile is cut by hand along the lines of the design, so the shapes stand in gentle relief, and a metallic effect yarn runs through it to catch the light. Underfoot it feels soft and shaggy.

This is a rug for the living room, where the red and grey suit a modern scheme and bring warmth to pale floors and neutral furniture. We sell it in three sizes. The 80 by 150cm rug works in front of a fireplace, beside an armchair or in a smaller sitting room. The 120 by 170cm size sits in front of a two seater sofa with room for a coffee table, and the 160 by 220cm rug is large enough to go under the front legs of a sofa and chairs, pulling a seating area together.
