Olympia is a modern shaggy rug in black, white and grey, laid out as a bold geometric lattice of interlocking blocks that cross the rug on the diagonal, rather like a basket weave on a large scale. It is machine made in polyester, and the pile is shaped by hand around each block, so the bands sit as raised panels with crisp edges between them. The multi textured pile pairs plush shag with a metallic effect yarn, which gives the grey blocks a gentle sheen.

This is a rug for the living room, where its strong contrast suits a modern scheme. We sell it in three sizes.
