Description

The Olivia is an eight-light crystal chandelier with a 58cm diameter antique brass frame dressed with Asfour cut crystal droplets and beads. Eight curved brass arms radiate from a central column, each terminating in an E14 candle bulb holder. The crystals hang in graduated strands from the arms and cascade down the central column, refracting light into prismatic patterns across walls and ceilings when the chandelier is lit.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Olivia provides both ambient light and architectural presence. The adjustable drop ranges from 850mm to 2180mm, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or hung in a double-height hallway. The open design without fabric shades allows each crystal to catch light from all angles, which suits rooms where the chandelier is viewed from multiple levels or positions.

The antique brass finish has a darker, aged tone compared to polished or brushed brass, with a muted sheen that pairs well with traditional oak furniture, warm neutral walls and classical plasterwork. The Asfour crystal is 30% lead crystal, precision-cut to uniform facets and polished to a high clarity that minimises cloudiness when backlit. At 4.7kg the chandelier requires a ceiling joist or cross-batten fixing rather than a standard plasterboard ceiling rose alone.

The chandelier is supplied without bulbs. Eight E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each are required (sold separately). Dimming is supported provided dimmable bulbs are used and paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch.
