Description

The Olivia is a 500mm diameter crystal chandelier with five E14 bulb positions housed beneath a black fabric shade, suspended from a polished chrome canopy on an adjustable chain. The chrome frame holds cascading Asfour crystal droplets that catch and refract light from the bulbs above, while the black gauze shade diffuses that light into a warmer, more ambient output below.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Olivia combines decorative crystal with functional shade lighting. The 730-1670mm adjustable drop allows the chandelier to hang 600-800mm above a dining table or lower into a double-height entrance hall. The five E14 bulbs (sold separately) provide enough light output for a 12-16m² room when used with 4-6W warm-white LEDs, and the fixture is compatible with dimmable bulbs when paired with a compatible LED dimmer.

The polished chrome finish on the frame and canopy reflects daylight and provides high-contrast against the black shade, making the chandelier visually distinct even when switched off. The Asfour crystal droplets are individually hung on chrome pins, creating a layered curtain of refraction beneath the shade. The black fabric is a semi-translucent gauze that softens the bulb glare while allowing the crystal beneath to remain visible from the side. At 2.5kg the chandelier needs secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced rose rated for the combined weight.
