Description

The Olivia is a 1630mm crystal floor lamp built around a polished chrome column with three E14 candle bulb holders arranged in a chandelier configuration beneath a 450mm white gauze drum shade. Cut crystal droplets hang from the chrome arms in a tiered arrangement, catching and refracting light from the bulbs above. The white gauze shade diffuses the light while allowing the crystal detail beneath to remain visible.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounges where both ambient light and decorative presence are needed, the Olivia pairs floor lamp convenience with chandelier-style detailing. The 1630mm height positions the shade at approximately 1.4-1.5m above floor level, making it suitable for placement beside sofas, in reading corners, or flanking console tables in entrance halls. The polished chrome footplate measures approximately 300mm diameter, providing stability on both hard floors and rugs without requiring excessive floor space.

The three E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the shade but above the crystal tier, so the light passes through both the crystals and the gauze before reaching the room. This creates a soft diffused output with sparkle accents from the crystal facets. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen — fit dimmable E14 candle bulbs to use the lamp with a floor dimmer or trailing-edge wall dimmer. The lamp is not compatible with LED or CFL bulbs; use halogen or traditional filament E14 candles only.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light and pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, while the white gauze shade remains neutral enough to work across traditional, classical and contemporary schemes. Yes, if fitted with dimmable halogen E14 bulbs. The lamp itself has no built-in dimmer, so you will need either a floor dimmer inline with the cable or a wall dimmer controlling the mains circuit. Trailing-edge dimmers work best with halogen bulbs.

Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystal droplets are hung on wire loops and can be carefully unhooked for dusting or cleaning. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Do not use household glass cleaners or sprays on the chrome frame.
