Description

The Olivia is a 1630mm crystal floor lamp built around a polished chrome stem with three E14 lamp holders, each dressed with cascading Asfour crystal droplets. A 450mm black fabric gauze shade sits over the three bulbs, diffusing the light while the cut crystals beneath catch and refract it into the surrounding space. The lamp takes three E14 bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately).

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls where both ambient and decorative light are needed, the Olivia provides 1630mm of vertical presence without requiring ceiling fixings. The chrome stem rises from a circular weighted base that gives the lamp stability on carpet or hard floors. The black shade contrasts with the reflective chrome and clear crystal, creating a defined silhouette that works in both traditional and contemporary interiors with neutral or dark-toned walls.

The Asfour crystals are cut-glass pieces rather than acrylic, giving sharper refractive edges that produce more distinct light patterns when the bulbs are on. The black gauze shade material is semi-translucent, so some glow passes through the fabric while the majority of the light is directed downwards and sideways through the gap between the shade edge and the crystals. At 5.4kg the lamp has enough weight to resist tipping but can still be moved between rooms without difficulty.

The lamp is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a trailing-edge or compatible dimmer on the circuit. The manufacturer specifies that LED and CFL bulbs are not compatible with this model, so halogen or traditional filament E14 candle bulbs are required. This typically means a warmer colour temperature around 2700K and higher running costs compared to LED equivalents, but provides flicker-free dimming performance.
