Description

The Olivia is a 1.63m crystal floor lamp built around an antique brass column with three E14 candle bulb holders arranged in a candelabra-style head, each surrounded by cascading Asfour crystal droplets. A 450mm black fabric shade sits above the bulbs, diffusing light downward through the crystals while the translucent black gauze softens the glow outward into the room.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and entrance halls where both ambient and decorative lighting is needed, the Olivia sits on a weighted circular brass base approximately 200mm in diameter. The lamp requires three E14 bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), and pairs well with warm filament-style LED candles to emphasise the crystal refraction. Dimmable bulbs paired with a trailing-edge dimmer allow the light output to be adjusted from soft background illumination to full task brightness.

The antique brass finish on the column and candelabra frame has a warm, slightly aged tone that sits comfortably with both traditional interiors and warmer contemporary schemes. The Asfour crystals are facet-cut glass rather than acrylic, giving sharper light scatter and more visible prismatic colour under direct bulb light. The black shade provides high contrast against the brass and prevents glare from the exposed bulbs when viewed from standing height, while still allowing the crystal droplets to catch and reflect light from below.

At 5.7kg the lamp has sufficient base weight to remain stable on carpets and rugs without needing additional anchoring. The inline foot switch on the cable allows the lamp to be turned on and off without reaching behind furniture, and the 450mm shade diameter keeps the light pool relatively focused rather than spreading wide across a room.
