Description

The Olivia is a 2 light crystal wall light combining a polished chrome frame with cascading Asfour crystal droplets and a black organza drum shade. Two E14 bulbs (sold separately, max 40W each) sit behind the 350mm-wide shade, with the crystals suspended below on faceted cut-glass chains. An integrated pull-cord switch on the fitting allows the light to be controlled without a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where wall-mounted lighting is needed either side of a bed, alongside a mirror, or as accent lighting in a passage, the Olivia projects 200mm from the wall. The 350mm height and width suit walls with clear space of at least 400mm square around the fitting. The pull-cord switch is useful in bedside applications where reaching a wall switch would be awkward, or in rooms where no switched supply is available at the mounting point.

The black organza shade diffuses light from the E14 bulbs while the chrome frame and crystal droplets add decorative detail below and to the sides. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light during the day and creates highlights when the fitting is lit. The Asfour crystal droplets are facet-cut to refract light into spectrum colours when direct light catches them, creating movement and sparkle against the darker shade background. The contrast between the black fabric and chrome metalwork suits interiors mixing dark accent tones with metallics.

The Olivia takes two E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for bedroom or living room use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and the circuit is controlled by a compatible dimmer switch. The integrated pull-cord switch on the fitting itself is on/off only, not a dimmer.

How does the switch work?

The fitting has a pull-cord switch hanging from the chrome frame. Pull once to turn the light on, pull again to turn it off. This is useful for bedside installation where reaching a wall switch would be awkward, or where no switched supply exists at the wall.

Can the crystals be removed for cleaning?

The crystal droplets are attached to the chrome frame with metal loops and can be unhooked for cleaning. Wipe crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or rinse in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry immediately with a lint-free cloth to avoid water spots.
