Description

The Okno is a 155mm round recessed downlight with an integrated 18W LED and a switchable colour temperature range of 3000K to 6000K. The LED driver and colour temperature selector are housed behind a white aluminium and plastic bezel that sits flush with the ceiling once installed, giving a clean circular aperture with no visible fixings. The 100° beam angle distributes light broadly across a room rather than creating a narrow spot.

Designed for ceiling recesses in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and commercial spaces, the Okno carries an IP44 rating for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 and other humid environments. The colour temperature switch allows users to select warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K) or cool white (6000K) on installation, or to change it later by accessing the driver behind the ceiling. The fitting requires a ceiling void depth of at least 60mm to accommodate the driver and heatsink assembly.

The white finish on the bezel blends into white or light-coloured ceilings without creating a visual boundary. The aluminium body conducts heat away from the LED into the rear heatsink fins visible in the product image, extending the operating life of the light source. The wide AC 165-265V input voltage range provides compatibility with mains supplies across different regions. How do I change the colour temperature?

The colour temperature is set using a physical switch on the LED driver unit behind the ceiling. Access requires removing the downlight bezel to reach the driver. The switch typically has three positions: 3000K (warm white), 4000K (neutral white) and 6000K (cool white). Set the temperature before or during installation, or when replacing the driver.

What ceiling void depth is needed?

A minimum 60mm void depth is required to accommodate the driver unit and heatsink assembly behind the bezel. The fitting is designed for standard plasterboard or timber ceilings with access from above or via a cut-out.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 rating provides protection against water splashes from any direction, making the Okno suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It is not rated for zone 1 (inside shower enclosures or directly above baths) or zone 0 (inside baths or shower trays).

Is the Okno dimmable?

The specification does not list dimmer compatibility. If dimming is required, contact Niori or consult the product manual to confirm whether the integrated driver supports specific dimmer models.
