The Octavia is a 1 light crystal wall light with a polished chrome arm sweeping to the left from a circular backplate, ending in a cluster of faceted clear crystals surrounding a single G4 halogen bulb. An integrated rocker switch on the backplate controls the light without needing a wall switch, making it practical for bedside positions or hallway accent lighting where local control is needed.

Designed for symmetrical pairing either side of a bed, a mirror, or an architectural feature, the Octavia Left partners with the corresponding Right version (sold separately) to create balanced sconces flanking a central point. The 200mm projection from the wall keeps the crystals clear of the mounting surface while the 310mm width gives the arm a visible sweep without dominating narrow walls. The faceted crystals refract light into multiple points across adjacent surfaces, adding decorative interest to plain walls in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms.

The polished chrome finish on the arm and backplate provides a reflective metallic surface that complements both warm and cool interiors. The included 20W G4 halogen bulb is dimmable using a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing the light level to be adjusted for different times of day. At 1kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard or masonry with the supplied fixings. The crystals are individually mounted on wire stems that extend from the chrome housing, giving the cluster a three-dimensional form rather than a flat arrangement.

Yes. A 20W G4 halogen bulb is included. The G4 socket is a capsule-style halogen fitting, not compatible with standard screw or bayonet bulbs. Replacement G4 bulbs are widely available.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the included G4 halogen bulb is dimmable using a trailing-edge dimmer. The fitting is not compatible with LED or CFL bulbs, so standard rotary or push dimmers designed for halogen loads will work.

Can it be installed without a wall switch?

Yes. The integrated rocker switch on the backplate controls the light directly, so it can be wired to a permanent live supply and switched locally. This is common for bedside wall lights where a wall switch would be inconvenient.

What's the difference between Left and Right versions?

The arm sweeps in the opposite direction. The Left version has the arm extending to the left when viewed from the front; the Right extends to the right. Paired together, they create symmetrical sconces either side of a bed, mirror or central feature.
